Lance Bertram says the best part about working for the Vineyard is building relationships with people on a daily basis. To make a new friend or to sit down and pray with someone is what keeps him jazzed. Aside from managing the Vineyard’s facility, Lance also oversees missions and is a student ministry leader. He would love to someday start Vineyard camps or retreat facilities across the nation.
Things you wouldn’t guess about Lance: His favorite food is lettuce. Yes, lettuce. The texture makes it fun to chew on. Add a little ranch dressing and some croutons and boo yah! That’s a good treat. Lance was in show choir during high school. He knows all about kick-ball-changes and three-point-turns.
Favorites include: taking things apart (and putting them back together without any leftover parts), carpentry, hunting, fishing, skiing, biking, and tennis. Lance loves spending time with his wife Megan, and daughters, as well as his entire family. Megan and Lance enjoy watching movies, playing with the girls, watching them grow, and teaching them new things.
