Associate Pastor 

Reggie Hovenga. 5'9" 200lbs. Likes hunting and killing things; plays softball and basketball; raises cattle. Loves to coach his kids in any activity–all eleven (not a typo it is 11) of them. Has more chickens than kids, which is “a lot."

Married to a wonderful wife, Shelly, who’s put up with him for 23+ years. They enjoy family time, even though it can get a bit crazy, Reggie says he “was made for that kinda stuff.” Shelly and Reggie both love the Lord, each other, and their kids. Yes, in that order.

What he does for HVC:
Oversees Care Ministries and Outreach - also teaches classes in Premarital, Financial Peace, Living Waters. Oversees baptisms, men's and women's ministry, recreation and other things as needed. Sounds like a lot but it matches his homelife!!!
