The Ultimate Journey

Beginning January 22 and January 24, 2012

Life's a journey. How is yours going? Are you spiritually stuck? Are there difficulties in your life that are holding you back and negatively affecting your relationships? If Christ came to set us free, why are so many people in bondage?

The Ultimate Journey is a Christ-centered small group discipleship process that will equip you with the tools you need to live your life with nothing to prove, nothing to lose, nothing to fear, and nothing to hide! You will receive healing for hurts and wounds, and uncover the lies you believe that have held you back, tripped you up, and even derailed you at times. You will discover God's solution to your guilt, shame, fear, and anxiety as you come to know God for who He really is rather than who you think He is. You will learn practical tools that enable you to take the power of God beyond head knowledge and apply it to your everyday life.

  • Phase One*
Unpack self deception by trading it in for God's perception of you.
  • Phase Two
Abandon self reliance by trading it in for dependence on God.
  • Phase Three
Surrender self-centered identity for your true Christ-centered identity.

Each Phase lasts 13 weeks, and helps participants find true freedom that is longed for and found only in Christ.

The next session begins Sunday, January 22nd or Tuesday, January 24th.

*Preregistration for Phase One is required. The Phase One Orientation Registration Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 15th at 12:30 in Room 232.

 Living Waters

Living Waters is an in-depth, Christ-centered program for people seeking healing in areas of sexual and relational brokenness. A healing, teaching and discipleship series, Living Waters addresses the reality that we are all broken in our ability to love others well. The goal of Living Waters is to lay a foundation for sexual and relational wholeness in our lives. With groups all over the world, and with over twenty years of ministering God’s healing love, the Living Waters program is a proven path of healing.

Living Waters is a 20-lesson program taught in a closed-group format. The leaders have been trained and a confidential policy is in place to help ensure trust and safety in the group.

Living Waters is particularly relevant to those struggling with homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, the effects of sexual abuse, codependency, self-hatred, or the inability to love others well. Thankfully, Christ's capacity to touch and restore us at deep levels of shame and brokenness extends to all of us, regardless of the specifics of our issue.

For more information about Living Waters, contact Reggie Hovenga by email or by phone at 319.266.4673.
