Within Heartland Vineyard, there's more than one way to help.

Weekend Service Teams

A first step in serving, these teams are critical to weekend Celebration Services. We think of it as serving the family with basic duties which nearly everyone can help with. Training is provided and time commitment is typically one service per month.

  • Production (PowerPoint, Video, Sound, Lighting)
  • Hospitality (First Impressions, Security, Book Store, Café)
  • Children (Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Upper Elementary)

Other Groups

We all want to put our gifts to good use. Teams below work outside the weekend Celebration Services to keep a variety of Vineyard ministries going strong. If you have a specific technical skill or talent, there's a place for you. Teams meet mostly on weekdays/nights. Training is provided where applicable.

  • Worship Arts (Communications, Tech, Music, Performance)
  • Outreach (Short-term Mexico Missons, Prison Transcripts; Local or National Crisis)
  • Prayer & Support (Email, Intercessory, Hospital Visits, Celebration Services)
  • Students (Junior or Senior High)
  • Other Groups (20 Something's, Men, Women)

Internships

A key Vineyard value is to equip believers to do the ministry. Our Pastoral Intern Program aims to fulfill this objective.

Pastoral interns will be mentored by our staff, trained in ministry, and expected to serve in and help lead various ministries at Heartland Vineyard Church. Interns will gain first-hand knowledge of and experience in what it is like to be a part of the Vineyard team. In addition, they will learn to set goals, establish priorities, make plans, and evaluate their work.

A regular internship lasts one year and is 20 hours per week. Part of the internship may include reading books, writing papers, etc.
